Fred Bereskin is a professor of Finance at the University of Missouri whose research focuses on corporate finance. In this episode, Fred discusses his research and relates it back to investing concepts.
Specifically, Francis, Ogi, and Fred discuss what makes a successful merger or acquisition and how the execution impacts the value of the company which affects the stock price. They also discuss what determines a company’s value in general and how that influences the market value, or ‘price’, of a stock.
